Designed by Roberto Rigon in the 1960s and ‘70s, the Italian ceramicist collaborated with Giovanni Bertoncello for a number of years to create a series of sculptural earthenware pieces that were known for playing with geometry and shape, light and unexpected structures for the period.
This model, the 142 vase, features the signature “Screziato” in Havana, a warm and sandy cream toned glaze with rusty browns and siennas delicately marbled throughout, adding a visual texture to this otherwise smooth exterior.
