A Greek inspired vase with a more modern take.
Made of off-white stoneware with a lightly textured finish, the style is known as a neck-amphora, a style where the neck joins the shoulders at a sharp angle rather than a one-piece amphora, where the neck and body are more harmoniously shaped in one continuous and fluid form.
The mouth of the vase is wider and longer than common greek inspired silhouettes, leading to a pair of broad, lightly sloping shoulders that form the top of its heart shaped body.
