A vintage trinket dish from Colombia.
Hand cut from marble, the colour is a deep, muted emerald green with blood red and delicate white veins running through the dish.
The inside is polished and smooth, in contrast to the outer edge of the dish.
It is left raw, untreated, the rim wide with thin etchings on its surface and repeated along the outer edge and down to the bottom.
This is the perfect repository for jewellery and other small objects that may be held near the home entrance or by a bedside.
